Mid Back Pain

Although low back and neck pain are some of the most common reasons people visit chiropractors, the middle of the back and shoulder blade area pain brings people in as well.

People can come in with rounded or stooped alignment that makes them look older and shorter than they should. They can also come in with a crooked spine in this area or an uneven or a higher looking shoulder on one side.

What makes it important is not just how it may look, all hunched over, but that it can lead to faster degeneration of the discs and the spine, but even more importantly, cause abnormal pressure on the nerves coming out of the middle back.

These nerves go to or feed not just the middle back and can cause pain, but also supply things like:

  • The heart,
  • Lungs,
  • Stomach,
  • And other organs

This may lead to problems such as:

  • Skipping, racing heartbeat,
  • Breathing issues,
  • Or acid reflux.

So getting a thorough spinal and nervous system analysis is crucial to your posture, your alignment, your nervous system and your healthy function. Drugs can help with the symptoms, but they may not get to the cause of the problems and will not correct the posture, the alignment or improve your nervous system.

Chiropractic care is designed to correct those misalignments of the spine called subluxations. Subluxations can occur from physical, emotional or chemical stress.

Here at Elevation Health, we use advanced postural and digital x-ray analysis to first be certain of the cause of your problem, and then use state of the art adjusting and a spinal remodeling program to correct those causes without drugs or invasive surgery.

Whether you are here in Windsor/Tecumseh or anywhere else in Essex County, dysfunction in your musculoskeletal system does not discriminate. Anyone can benefit from the healing attributes of chiropractic care in order to provide relief from any form of discomfort that one undergoes when they have a misaligned spine, back, or neck.

Schedule an appointment today at Elevation Health if you are serious about potentially feeling great, and functioning better, getting back to doing the things that you enjoy, and elevating your health.

When you feel pain below the neck and above the bottom of the rib cage, it is mid back pain you are experiencing.
